Russia redeploys units from Luhansk region to Kharkiv direction
Russia redeploys its troops from the Luhansk region to the Kharkiv direction, and engages volunteer units in military operations
Vitaliy Sarantsev, a spokesman for the Kharkiv troop grouping, said this during the telethon.
"The last unit currently advancing towards the Kharkiv region is the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment, moving from the Luhansk region. The enemy is also conducting internal rotations and involving volunteer units or even foreign citizens, whom they force or deceive into fighting. These are individuals from the Middle East, Central Asia, or African countries, possibly senior students blackmailed with threats of being sent to northern regions if they refuse to fight," he said.
At the same time, Sarantsev noted that suicides among Russian military personnel have become more frequent.
"There are very frequent cases of suicides among soldiers who have been wounded. They realize that no one will pull them out of the fire, that they won't receive help, and that they can't move forward or retreat, so they simply end their lives," added the spokesperson.
- The Russian army has concentrated its greatest efforts in the areas of Lyptsi, Hlyboke, Morokhovets, Krasne and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.
