Russia doesn't need casus belli, it has shown everything it is capable of
I want to record this fear of our society. Because we still think that Russia has some secret trump card, and it needs a reason to play it
I want to record one thing.
After the fiery concert at the Crocus, many people said that it was staged, it was on purpose, and now Putin will do something, and it will be even harder for us.
I want to record not what Putin did (because he did nothing and hid for almost a day).
“I want to record this fear of our society. Because we still think that Russia has some secret trump card, and it needs a reason to play it. And we are afraid of it.”
There is a trump card, it is not secret, it is called "nuclear weapons". Everything else is not a trump card, but a regular card. And judging by the sharp decline in mentions, the Kremlin no longer considers this one a trump card.
- Did Russia really need to shoot when the preliminary mobilization was announced? It seems not.
- Did it need a casus belli to launch a full-scale war in February 2022? No.
- What happened the day before Crocus that the Russians fired on DniproHES in my native Zaporizhzhia? Nothing.
- Did they need an imaginary terrorist attack to make Bucha happen? No.
The only real threat to us would be if they really bothered to provoke us to divert the support of the allies. But then the shooters would be running around Crocus wearing embroidered shirts with herrings and shouting "Glory to Bandera." Because Russians don't know how to do things beautifully. They just don't know how, that's all.
“And eventually we need to stop being afraid of them with such paralyzing fear. It does not help us survive. Fear is natural and normal, but fear is productive. Fear that gives strength, not takes it away.”
Russia has already shown us almost all the evil it is capable of. We have to take this evil, count it, account for it, and pay it back a hundredfold. And let our fear help us to do so.
Are you scared? Make a donation.
Are you Scared? Mobilize.
Are you Scared? Give blood for the wounded.
Let fear become your weapon. Do not give it power over you.
As Ukraine used to say, looking at a map of Europe, "It's not me who was locked up here with you. It was you who were locked in here with me!”
