Robots will do work on battlefield: Major Kyshkar on technical mobilization
Only high-tech solutions can provide a technological advantage over Russia. Therefore, Ukraine needs technical mobilization
Deputy Battalion Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Pavlo Kyshkar said this on Espreso TV.
"We often talk about the lack of people on the battlefield, but there are people. Let's carry out technical mobilization, and then some people will be freed up. After all, the work on the battlefield will be done by robots, whether unmanned aerial vehicles or ground-based controlled systems. We have such developments. If we react quickly and describe how Tandem-2 or Sabre will be supplied and used on the battlefield, we will gain an advantage over the enemy in both tactical and positional defense," he said.
The Commander-in-Chief believes that this is the right direction for the development of the Armed Forces, Kyshkar said.
"There is no other option. We will never have a numerical advantage over the enemy. We do not have more men than Russia. If there can only be a technological advantage on our side, then let's ensure it. We need high-tech solutions on the battlefield, they can provide a technological advantage over Russia," he added.
According to the major, remote-controlled combat modules are already being used in limited numbers. The work of Deputy Chief Commander Andriy Lebedenko is aimed at ensuring that these Tandems shoot at the enemy on the battlefield as soon as possible.
"A whole range of measures is being taken to train personnel, repair and vehicle facilities, and provide units with ammunition in time. This is a comprehensive solution, and training can be conducted right now. Such systems are available and will be mass-produced in the near future. We expect the first contracts for Tandem and Sabre to be signed in the coming weeks," says Kyshkar.
The interaction between the developer, the weapons manufacturer and the military is mutually beneficial. After all, by receiving feedback, it is possible to improve the product and, in return, effectively use certain means on the battlefield, the major noted.
"We pass this information on to other units, which can receive these systems tomorrow and have the best practices from the manufacturer and combat units that have already worked with these systems. This radically changes the ground situation in terms of the style of combat, allowing commanders to be more imaginative in their approach to the deployment of combat and firepower. Most importantly, this is directly related to mobilization," Kyshkar summarized.
