Zelenskyy said this in an interview with CBS News.
In order to win, Ukraine needs weapons from its Western partners, as well as tougher sanctions against Russia and the blocking of all economic ties with the Kremlin.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian military does not have to go to the 1991 borders, but it will be enough to return the territories occupied by Russia after the start of the full-scale war. The president of Ukraine believes that in this case, Putin will lose power inside Russia and return the occupied territories.
"Only then will Putin be ready for dialogue. Then the civilized world's demand to him should be the liberation of all Ukrainian lands," Zelenskyy said.
- On March 29, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the National Security and Defence Council with a new composition.
