"I think everything is possible in the modern world," Putin emphasized in response to a question about the possibility of a full-scale conflict between Russia and NATO.
He added that this could result in World War III.
"It is clear to everyone that this would be just one step away from a full-scale Third World War," Putin explained, adding that, in his opinion, "hardly anyone is interested in that."
