Most difficult frontline situation is in Avdiivka-Pokrovsk area - local deputy
Mykola Dovbnia, a deputy of Druzhkivka City Council, says that the fiercest fighting is currently taking place near Ocheretyne in the direction from Avdiivka to Pokrovsk
He said this on Espreso TV.
"Without a doubt, the most difficult situation is the direction from Avdiivka to Pokrovsk. Toretsk has been standing since 2014, the enemy cannot advance a single meter, and the demarcation line has remained as it was 10 years ago. The fact is that there is the Donetsk ridge, there are mountains, so there is a place to build a defense. But from Avdiivka to Pokrovsk, there are fields, and the defense lines that were supposed to be built were probably not enough to hold the Russian army back, because it is advancing. Look at the map: Russian troops are moving towards Pokrovsk, they want to cut the Kostiantynivka-Pokrovsk highway. And why would they want to take the agglomeration of Kramatorsk - Sloviansk and Druzhkivka when they can surround it," noted Mykola Dovbnia.
The Druzhkivka City Council member added that the fiercest fighting is currently taking place near Ocheretyne in the direction of Avdiivka-Pokrovsk.
