People living in Russian-held territories are urged not to participate in pseudo-elections
Special memos are being spread on social media, which contain information on what to remember about the pseudo-elections in the occupied territories of Ukraine
These memos state that the elections organized by the Kremlin are illegitimate, lenta.ua reports, citing RIA-Melitopol.
"Do not participate in elections without a choice! Do not vote for a terrorist who holds you hostage! Don't participate in the organization and holding of illegal elections!" the email reads.
"Ukraine clearly distinguishes between collaborators and those who have become hostages to the situation. The punishment for collaboration is imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years with confiscation of property! Forcible receipt of a Russian passport does not entail criminal liability and is not a ground for losing Ukrainian citizenship without your application," the memo says.
The report reminds that the so-called presidential elections will take place on March 15-17, but the Kremlin decided to extend the process in the occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, and early voting will begin there on February 25.
