Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared this information.
“Our cities and communities face constant Russian shelling. Even on Christmas Eve, the terrorists carried out a massive airstrike,” he said.
According to Zelenskyy, Russia launched more than 370 strike drones, around 280 guided bombs, and 80 missiles in total over the course of this week.
“This kind of terror can only be stopped through collective effort. I’m grateful to the defenders who protect our people from daily attacks and to our partners who understand the urgency of providing air defense systems to save lives and ensure a just peace,” the President emphasized.
- On the night of December 29, Russian forces targeted a community in the Mykolaiv region with Shahed 131/136 UAVs. The attack caused a fire at an energy facility and injured one worker.
