Fall promises to be eventful, bringing culmination in war
With or without Putin, they want to push Russia into some kind of agreement on ending the war just in time for the US elections, so that Biden has this trump card
I have a vague guess.
Comparing the timing of F-16 delivery to Ukraine, which was deliberately delayed to this summer, no earlier and no later, with the timing of new US sanctions on arms and supplies (starting in September), it seems that they want to push Russia, with or without Putin, to reach some kind of agreement on ending the war just in time for the US elections, so that Biden has this trump card.
Like, make a deal now, because later, as you can see, everything will be much worse. And so to resolve the issue without the risk of a big WWIII-type storm. If so, then Ukraine will certainly be bent to do the same.
Whatever the case, we have a very interesting fall ahead of us. The big game is slowly approaching its culmination.
