Destruction of oil depots in Russia bolsters Ukraine's combat operations - Achilles UAV company commander
Yuriy Fedorenko, Achilles UAV company commander with the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, notes crippling Russian logistics reduces their ability to support frontline operations effectively
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The destruction of oil depots in Russia and ammunition depots has a very positive impact on the dynamics of combat operations. Striking the enemy's rear lines is crucial, as it hampers their ability to efficiently supply their front line. This depletion of their rear resources limits the Russian occupying forces' capacity for sustained and aggressive offensive actions," emphasized Fedorenko.
The UAV platoon commander underscores the necessity of producing diverse types of drones in Ukraine. This includes the development of long-range drones capable of targeting specific categories of assets in the temporarily occupied territories.
"This also includes long-range missiles. Ukraine really needs missiles such as GLSDB, Storm Shadow, which would make it possible to hit the enemy in echelons and destroy them in the rear," Fedorenko said.
