Chasiv Yar is under Ukrainian Armed Forces' control - Khortytsia grouping of troops

"Experts and analysts are giving their assessment of the situation near Chasiv Yar. I want to inform you that the town of Chasiv Yar is under the control of the Defense Forces. Ukraine's Armed Forces control the town. Currently, the invading Russian army demonstrates on video that it has made advances in the eastern part of the city. This is the Kanal neighborhood of the city. The Russians entered the destroyed houses. However, Russian units did not cross the Kanal itself," said Voloshyn.

The spokesman emphasized that Russia continues to fire at Chasiv Yar from various types of weapons.

"For several days, the Russians were actively advancing from the Kanal neighborhood and filmed propaganda videos about it. Today the city is fully controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Over the past day, the enemy fired more than 1,000 mortar and artillery shells at the city, and there were more than 250 attacks from various types of weapons," he added.
