Russia may go on offensive, which is why US is increasing aid to Ukraine — White House

It is reported that as the weather conditions improve, the Russian military may attack several areas on the front line in Ukraine, and so the US is offering necessary assistance to Ukraine. John Kirby, the coordinator of strategic communication of the US National Security Council, stated that the US is unaware of where or how the Russian attack might occur, which is why it is vital to provide Ukraine with adequate aid.

Kirby added that if the Ukrainians decide to conduct their offensive operations, they should be capable of doing so. He suggested that the Armed Forces of Ukraine require armored vehicles, artillery, air defense, and logistical support, including food, water, and fuel, to maintain continuous operations. Supporting the military on the battlefield with these essential supplies is crucial, and it is a priority for the US in its military aid to Ukraine. 

• The US announced that it would train some Abrams tanks for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while others are expected to arrive on the front line by the end of the year.
