Russia launches S-300 missile at Sumy region first time since its de-occupation

"The Seredyna-Buda community is under fire every day, because it is the northernmost in the Sumy region. Znob-Novhorodske, Svesa, Esman communities are also seriously affected. The central part of the region is periodically shelled, namely Bilopillia and Vorozhba communities. Not so long ago, on December 25 and 26, the enemy shelled the Bilopillia community, as a result of which social infrastructure facilities and medical institutions were damaged. Not for the first time in Vorozhba, the railway depot was hit. There are serious destructions and damages to both buildings and equipment," said the head.
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi noted that recently there was an attack on Velyka Pysarivka community and for the first time since the Sumy region de-occupation, Russian forces launched S-300 missiles at the region. Windows and doors in almost all houses of Velyka Pysarivka village were shattered, all administrative buildings, as well as buildings of territorial subdivisions of central executive authorities were damaged.
"Russians are at war with hospitals, psychoneurological boarding schools, water towers, substations. Since October, we have observed that the enemy is targeting small substations in settlements located near the border. They even target power transformers that supply 1 or 2 streets in the village," said Zhyvytskyi.
