Russia intensifies shelling, but uses fewer shells by carefully selecting targets – OC South
Natalia Humeniuk, OC South spokeswoman, noted that the enemy is striking on the right bank of Kherson region, because that is where they see the danger from the Ukrainian Defense Forces
She stated it on Espreso.
“Lately, the enemy has increased the number of attacks, but they are using fewer shells compared to a week ago. The enemies are targeting the same areas as before, such as Beryslav, Kherson, and Kizomys, but they are more cautious in selecting their targets,” she said.
Humeniuk mentioned that the enemy chooses to shell directions where they perceive danger from the Defense Forces.
"On the night of July 31, Kherson was shelled more than 10 times. The enemy focused on this direction as it seems most threatening. The enemy continues to launch guided aerial bomb attacks in the Beryslav region, and the Kizomys area is still under mortar fire," Humeniuk reported.
