Russia has launched almost 5,000 missile strikes against Ukraine since beginning of full-scale war
For more than a year, since February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation has carried out almost 5 thousand missile, 3.5 thousand air strikes and 1.1 thousand drone attacks on the territory of Ukraine
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the statement of the first secretary of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna Danylo Kubai during a meeting of the Forum for Security Cooperation.
"In total, since the beginning of the war, the Russian Federation has carried out almost 5,000 missile strikes, almost 3,500 air strikes and almost 1,100 drone strikes. Without any military sense, Russian troops continue to implement a strategy of senseless destruction, turning cities into ruins and killing innocent civilians," Kubai said.
As a result of Russian strikes, the number of civilian casualties is growing daily.
The Ukrainian diplomat reminded that, according to recently updated data from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Office, 8231 people have been killed and 13,734 injured since February 2022.
