"The Russian invaders fired 79 times on the territory of the Kherson region, firing more than 400 shells at the region," the press service writes.
It is reported that the Russian army fired at peaceful settlements with mortars, rocket launchers, artillery, tanks and drones.
Russian troops fired 9 times at residential areas of Kherson.
Enemy shells hit a public transport stop, a shop, private and multi-family buildings.
On March 9, four people were killed and three residents of the Kherson region were injured of varying severity as a result of shelling by the Russian army.
Among the injured was a 13-year-old boy who received shrapnel wounds to his chest and arm during the shelling of Veletenske village.
