Mariupol Mayor Adviser Petro Andryushchenko shared the update.
The Mariupol residents were taken to a filtration camp in Bezymenne village, Novoazovsk district. 512 people have been been subsequently deported to Russia after being held at this facility.
"We are currently establishing a route from the railway station to Taganrog. We are working on ways to return Mariupol residents home through friendly countries from Russia," Andryushchenko said.
