Russia decides to reduce price of only one product – economist
Oleh Pendzyn, an economist and member of the Economic Discussion Club, noted that Russian supermarkets have reduced the prices of alcohol products as much as possible
He spoke about this on Espreso TV.
The economist pointed out one interesting point that exists in the economic and social spheres of Russian society.
"Despite the fact that absolutely everything on the price tags of Russian supermarkets is growing, there is only one product for which a centralized decision has recently been made to reduce its prices. Do you know what it is? Vodka! Today, Russia has a monopoly on alcohol production, so a decision was made to reduce the prices of vodka products as much as possible and, let's say, to make it easier for Russian society to perceive the environment," commented Oleh Pendzyn.
