Putin threatens to retaliate against delivery of foreign-made tanks to Ukraine
Russian leader Vladimir Putin threatens to retaliate against the supply of foreign-made tanks to Ukraine and assures that the Russian army will not limit itself to using only armored vehicles
He made the statements in a speech on February 2 at an event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, Russian media reported.
"We have something to retaliate with, and we will not stop at just using armored vehicles," Putin said.
"We are not sending our tanks to their borders, but we have something to retaliate with," the Russian president added.
He also voiced the Kremlin's narrative about the alleged existence of direct threats to Russia's security.
"Now, unfortunately, we see that the ideology of Nazism, in its modern form, in its modern manifestation, again poses direct threats to the security of our country," Putin said.
