Poroshenko in Halifax names best negotiator with Russian aggressor

Fifth president of Ukraine urged not to trust Putin, who never abides by international obligations and agreements, and emphasized: he only understands force.

"Don't trust Putin. Putin understands only one thing - force. How can we achieve peace? You talked about negotiation process. I fully support and agree. Without this, it is impossible. And when can we start negotiations? They are already underway. And we have very good negotiators. Do you know who they are? Ukrainian Armed Forces", Poroshenko said.

"Putin was against withdrawal of his troops from Kyiv region. We held very successful negotiations - and kicked Putin's troops out of Kyiv region. Also after that - from Chernihiv region, from Sumy region. After that, we held very successful round of negotiations and kicked Putin's troops out of Kharkiv region. And even later - from Kherson region. 20% of the territory was returned to Ukraine due to such negotiations. What other negotiations are you looking for?", Poroshenko said.

"Ukrainians are the shield that protects world from Russian aggression and maniac Putin", Petro Poroshenko added.

He also thanked all Ukrainian military personnel, soldiers and officers who surprised the world with their resilience and courage.
