Parliament supported  in first reading the bill that corse criminal responsibility for usage of letters "Z" and "V" as symbols of the war against Ukraine and recognition Russia as a terrorist state

This law defines specific conditions under which  to use these  symbols will be considered as propaganda.

Also the bill called Russia as terrorist state.

Bill author, deputy Mykola Kniazhytskyi, commented  poll of this law: “Russia has been in a war with Ukraine for last 8 years. But before they were hiding their participation, but before February 24 then everything changed, and we have open and unconditional war against Ukraine. This war is accompanied by numerous terrorist acts by Russia against the civilian population. Today it is obvious that  official state policy of Russia has become mass killings of Ukrainians, killings of children, rocket and bomb attacks on hospitals, maternity hospitals, kindergartens and civilian homes. This is ordinary terrorist activity on the part of the state. Russia is a terrorist state, and it’s obvious to the whole world now. "

Mykola Kniazhytskyi also added that  symbols of the war against Ukraine, same letters "Z" and "V", are already banned in many European countries. And first criminal cases are already under investigation, for example, in Germany and Baltic countries. Verkhovna Rada is expected to finalize this  bill in  next few plenary days.
