New Russian opposition develops in refugee community - Eidman

Sociologist and researcher of Putinism Igor Eidman shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"There is another opposition that the general public may not know about. There was a similar congress in Berlin. Several hundred young people were present, mostly representatives of youth initiatives that are connected with specific practical matters. For example, helping refugees from Ukraine or helping conscientious objectors in Russia," he said.

According to Eidman, these people do not claim to be the fathers of Russian democracy, but they do concrete things.

"There are no disputes between them, no vertical structures, no leaders. They all cooperate productively and communicate with each other. I think these people are the future, people of this generation and this approach to life, which is largely Western. I think they are now the future of Russia or the post-Russian space after all these terrible events," the oppositionist summarized.
