Moscow's defeat or victory is win-win scenario for China - Piontkovsky
Washington-based political analyst Andrey Piontkovsky believes that if Moscow wins, China would get Taiwan, and if it loses, it would actually get Siberia
He expressed his opinion on Espreso TV.
“The defeat of Russia is beneficial to China. It also benefits from Ukraine's defeat. China will benefit enormously in either case. If the predictions of American intelligence came true and Kyiv surrendered in 5 days, it would be a crushing defeat not only for Ukraine but also for the United States, for which it would be a way out of the world arena. And Taiwan would have long been part of China, the Taiwanese themselves would have brought the keys to the island. That is, if Moscow wins, China would get Taiwan, and if Moscow loses, it would actually get all of Siberia,” the political scientist explained.
Andrey Piontkovsky added that Russia has no longer become a junior vassal, but has become completely dependent on China.
“Beijing now wants to record this defeat of Russia, and as a contribution to the new international structure, it wants to sell itself to the West as a constructive negotiator,” Piontkovsky concluded.
