Modern high-tech air defense system is being created in Ukraine - Serhiy Zgurets
Ukraine will receive an additional 6 batteries of NASAMS air defense systems from the USA and an additional 3 IRIS-T air defense systems, which is the basis for a modern high-tech air defense system in Ukraine.
Another Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on Antoniv Bridge
In the afternoon of August 26, explosions rang out near the temporarily occupied Kherson. The Russians immediately announced the work of air defense, but the reality is completely different. The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Antoniv Bridge. Spokesmen of the operational command South claimed that the bridge was under fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This led to the fact that the occupying forces did not dare to use the bridge and repair it. Also today, Russian positions were hit in Chornobayivka and Inzhenerny. Earlier, on August 24, the Armed Forces also struck the lock bridge of the Kakhovska HPP, as a result of which movement across the crossing became impossible. The Ukrainian army systematically disables all bridges across the Dnipro in order to make it impossible for the occupiers to transfer equipment and ammunition to the right bank of the Kherson region. In order to find options for some logistical survival, the enemy is now trying to complete the barge crossing near the Antoniv Bridge. More than 50 meters of such a crossing was built, however, it is quite likely that today's strikes damaged this crossing as well. There is also preliminary information that the enemy has completed the deployment of a pontoon crossing across the Dnipro near the settlement of Lviv and is preparing to use this crossing for its own needs.

Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 200 Russian paratroopers in occupied Kadiivka
The head of the Luhansk regional military administration announced today that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed more than 200 Russian paratroopers, striking the base of the occupiers in the Donbas hotel in the occupied Kadiivka. The Russians claim that the Armed Forces fired 10 HIMARS missiles at Kadiivka. There is no true information with which missiles the Ukrainian army struck, but only the result is important for us. We will wait for the continuation of this good news.
Ukraine will receive an additional 6 batteries of NASAMS air defense systems
On Independence Day, we received the largest package of military aid from the US in the amount of $3 billion. I would like to single out the air defense systems that are included in this package. In particular, modern NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems. Two batteries were previously announced, and a new US military aid package announced 6 more NASAMS batteries. In total, Ukraine will receive 8 batteries of air defense systems. Each battery, in addition to the command post and target detection, has 4 launchers that can destroy targets at a range of up to 40 km and at an altitude of 20 km. This is a really modern and high-tech air defense system. It is NASAMS air defense systems that cover the White House in Washington. In order to cover such a large city as Kyiv, several dozen such batteries are needed. So we hope that by the end of the year we will be able to get even more such systems.

Germany will provide Ukraine with additional 3 IRIS-T air defense systems
Germany announced an increase in the number of IRIS-T air defense systems for Ukraine. IRIS-T is one of the modern high-tech air defense systems used in Germany and some other countries. Earlier there was talk of two IRIS-T systems, but a few days ago there was information that Berlin could hand over 3 additional IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine. The German Ministry of Defense recently said that the first IRIS-T complex will be delivered to Ukraine at the end of summer or at the beginning of autumn.
