Ukrainian troops hold Robotyne, fighting for village is ongoing — Zaporizhzhia official

“The Russians are trying to seize the moment, realizing that attention is focused on the Kharkiv region today. But there are enough of our military on the Zaporizhzhia front line, the lines are fortified. In other words, our military is generally fixed in these positions. After one of the leaders of the occupation authorities, Rogov, claimed that Robotyne was captured, our military denied it,” Ashurbekov said.

According to him, there are constant battles for Robotyne.

“Today there is no information that the Russians control anything there. Robotyne is no longer a village with houses, all of them are destroyed. Now it's nothing but a geographical territory. Our military are holding it at great cost. Broadly speaking, the front line in Zaporizhzhia region is fixed,” Ashurbekov added.

• The village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region, is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. It faces non-stop fighting. 
• On May 17, 114 combat clashes took place at the front line, Russian troops fired almost 2,800 times at the positions of Ukrainian forces.
