Ukraine striking Russia with German weapons will not contribute to escalation — Scholz
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz believes that granting Ukraine permission to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation with German weapons will not lead to escalation
Olaf Scholz said this in an interview with the German radio station Antenne Bayern, DW reports.

He also noted that the decision to grant Ukraine the right to use German weapons was carefully thought out in cooperation with the country's “friends and allies.” In addition, Scholz assured the citizens of Germany that he would never allow pressure to be exerted on him in order to persuade him to make “wrong and untimely decisions.”
