Ukrainian troops expand bridgehead on Dnipro's eastern bank in Kherson region — journalist
Yevhenia Virlych, chief editor of Kavun.City, states the Ukrainian Armed Forces are present on the left bank of the Kherson region, citing military sources
She spoke about this on the Espreso TV channel.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces are definitely present on the left bank of the Kherson region, as confirmed by official representatives. There are very powerful battles going on there. We recently analyzed Beryslav. Those who are closer to the Dnipro River line report that the Russians are shelling heavily. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are giving back fire on military targets. Therefore, the Ukrainian military is definitely present there. They have expanded their bridgehead a bit. Of course, no one says to what extent, but in Nova Kakhovka and Kakhovka, the Russians are hysterical,” Virlych said.
According to her, key collaborators are trying to be closer to Skadovsk and Henichesk.
“They think it is safer there. There are also constant rotations on the part of the Russians towards the beginning of the left bank - Krynky, Nova Kakhovka. No matter how much the Russians wanted to recapture Nestryha Island, one of the key ones, they failed,” Virlych added.
- Recently, the Southern Defense Forces explained why it is important to hold the bridgehead in Krynky.
