It's hell near Pervomaisk, Russian troops launch offensive: Legion of Freedom officer from Marinka direction
Serhiy Voronov, an officer with the Legion of Freedom, noted that Russia is trying to expand the bridgehead near Marinka for further offensive
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The area is very hot. Today it's hell near Pervomaisk as the enemy has launched an offensive there. The Russians are also putting pressure near Nevelske and near Marinka, trying to expand the foothold for further offensive. Today, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an offensive near Marinka, in particular from the northern direction, where the enemy is trying to put pressure on Krasnohorivka," noted Voronov.
According to the Legion of Freedom officer, Russian troops advanced a little near Novomykhailivka.
"The enemy's 33rd and 39th motorized rifle brigades are active. It is not easy for the Ukrainian Defense Forces today, but we are courageously trying to stabilize the situation and prevent the enemy from advancing further. There are sections of the frontline, in particular near Staromykhailivka, where the enemy is still trying to shell our positions. There are clashes at the level of several positions, but the contact line is not moving," emphasized Voronov.
