Ukraine's General Staff names hottest frontline areas, reports 71 firefights

148 combat clashes take place on the frontline

According to updated information, over the past day, Russian troops launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, using one missile, 51 air strikes (using 74 combat aircraft), and fired over 3,000 times, including 127 MLRS attacks. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

At night, Russian forces launched another massive air strike. Ukrainian defense forces destroyed all 23 Shahed attack UAVs and five out of six Russian missiles.

Yesterday, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops and artillery destroyed three Russia's control points, one air defense facility, two ammunition depots and 15 areas of personnel concentration.

In total, over the past day, Russia's total losses amounted to 1,260 people, three tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, five air defense systems, 24 UAVs, 61 vehicles and 11 units of special equipment.

Frontline update

So far, 71 combat engagements have taken place. The invading Russian troops carried out five air strikes (11 KABs) and fired 614 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops. They also used 38 kamikaze drones.

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian army continues to attack. Fighting continues in the area of Vovchansk. The Russian assault near Lyptsi was stopped by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The invaders used multiple rocket launchers from the direction of Belgorod and Shebekino (Belgorod region of the Russian Federation) in the areas of Mali Prokhody, Lyptsi, Hlyboke, and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, five Russian attacks have taken place since the beginning of the day, and two of them in the area of Stepova Novoselivka are still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Makiivka and Nevske. In total, since the beginning of the day, the invading forces have attempted to advance in this area five times.

In the Siversk sector, fighting continues in the area of Rozdolivka and Vyimka. The number of enemy assaults there has increased to five.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians do not abandon their intentions to break through in the area of Chasiv Yar. Two assault operations continue.

The situation in the Toretsk sector is tense. The Russian aggressor is active in the areas of Pivnichne and New York. In total, the Russian army tried to push Ukrainian defenders back 16 times. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.

The situation in the Pokrovsk sector remains tense. The Russian army has conducted 13 offensives today, nine of which were successfully repelled. Fighting continues.

Russia lost 245 soldiers and two artillery systems over the last day. One tank was damaged.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russia is acting in the area of Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka. Since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried to improve their tactical position 15 times. They suffer losses.

In the Vremivka sector, the Russian army attacks near Kostiantynivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russians stormed the area of Mala Tokmachka without success.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, five enemy attacks were repelled. The aggressor bombarded Beryslav, Tiahyntsi, and Olhivka with anti-aircraft guns.

In other areas, Russian troops did not conduct active operations.

Thanks to the flexibility of Ukraine's defense system and the coherence of the units' actions, Ukrainian soldiers are confidently holding their positions.

  • Over the past day, June 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,260 Russian soldiers and dozens of vehicles.
