Melitopol mayor reports mass abduction and torture of civilians by Russian occupiers

The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, told about this on the United News national telethon.
According to the reports from Melitopol people, who were "put in the basements" by the occupiers and later managed to escape to the Ukrainian-controlled territory - people are kept in torture chambers during the occupation for months, and some - since the beginning of the occupation. Mandatory practice used by the occupiers is electric torture. In addition, the captives are used as "training aids" in bullying for the mobilized Russians.
The mayor of Melitopol also spoke about the case of torture against women - the Russian occupiers kept Ukrainian women standing in a sea container for 9 days.
"The terror in the occupied territory is increasing every day - the Rashists (thwe term combines “Russian,” “racist” and “fascist” - ed.) are furious because of the lack of victories on the battlefield," Ivan Fedorov added.
