Main logistics route: Ukrainian Armed Forces try to gain fire control over the Vovchansk - Velikiy Burluk - Kupyansk - Izyum road - military expert Kovalenko

Military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko said this on Espresso.

"The Russian forces are panicking that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have started counteroffensive actions in the Kharkiv region - in the direction of Balaklia. We see videos and photos of how the Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing approximately 20 km deep. We understand what is happening now - the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to at least take full  fire control is the main logistics artery. This is the route Vovchansk - Velikiy Burluk - Kupyansk - Izyum," he noted.

Kovalenko added that thanks to this, Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to fully control one of the main logistical routes for the delivery of equipment, personnel, ammunition and fuel.

"If this happens, the Izyum group will be bloodied. Then they will have only one way out - to leave this bridgehead, flee, retreat. Knowing the actions of the Russian command in the South, this Izyum group will be left alone," the expert concluded.
