Kremlin responds to Biden's condition for beginning negotiations with United States
Press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is ready for negotiations with the USA, but Russian troops are not going to leave Ukraine.
He said this in the comment to "Ъ FM".
Peskov said that the conditions for the start of negotiations, which were announced by US President Joe Biden, are unacceptable. "Putin's voice" emphasized that military aggression against Ukraine will continue.
"He (Biden, - ed.) said that, first, Putin should leave Ukraine. He believes that this should be a demonstration that Putin is ready for negotiations. The United States, as before, does not recognize new territory within the Russian Federation. And, of course, this significantly complicates the search for some kind of mutual basis," Peskov said.
"Special military operation continues. At the same time, President Putin remains open to negotiations," he added.

Previously, it was reported that Biden is ready to negotiate with Putin if Russia demonstrates a willingness to end the war in Ukraine.
