Kremlin is trying out idea of nuclear tests

Since Russia cannot even hope to defeat Ukrainians, it is simulating nuclear madness

There is a new escalation of nuclear threats on Russian television. It is striking that Russia does not hope to win on the battlefield. All of their plans and dreams, both before and now, revolve around how they could defeat the unarmed and capture those who do not resist. As soon as there is resistance and weapons, Russia faces what Putin called risks that arose largely unexpectedly.

They did not expect the resistance of Ukrainians. And now they simply do not know what to do. They are furious that they have to fight and no one greets them with flowers. And they are terribly afraid that Ukrainians will be even more armed against Russian aggression, and then the legend of the invincible Russian army will be over and the myth that Russia cannot be defeated will be over.

“Since Russia cannot even hope to defeat Ukrainians, it is simulating nuclear madness to scare the West so it would stop supporting Ukraine. But to no avail”

Since Russia cannot even hope to defeat Ukrainians, it is simulating nuclear madness to scare the West so it would stop supporting Ukraine. But to no avail.

Therefore, a new topic has emerged - to conduct demonstration tests of nuclear weapons. To withdraw from the treaties that prohibit such tests. To make a movie showing a nuclear mushroom. To shake up all those topics in the world that we have been familiar with since the 1980s: no to war, pacifists with pictures of nuclear explosions, songs about 8 seconds, bomb shelters, and so on.

Now they are trying out the idea of nuclear testing. They are trying to find out how Russian society will react to it. But given the strategic desperation that prevails in the Kremlin, I predict that it will come to these demonstrative nuclear weapons tests somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. We should be prepared.
