Ukrainian strikes on Russian military depots may change entire combat theater - ISW
Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believe that the Ukrainian military's strikes on Russian rear logistics facilities will exert broader operational pressure on the Russian army
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported the information.
According to analysts, repeated attacks on ammunition depots in Russia may force the Russian military command to make a similar decision to reorganize and disperse support and logistics systems within Russia to mitigate the consequences of such attacks.
The removal of restrictions on the use of Western systems, combined with the continued development of Ukraine's own long-range strike capabilities, may enable Ukrainian forces to better exploit Russia's vulnerabilities.
“Ukrainian strikes against facilities within Russia could impact offensive operations throughout the theater in Ukraine if Ukrainian forces have the materiel, capabilities, and permission to conduct such a strike campaign against logistics and support facilities within Russia at scale,” analysts believe.
