President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced that she will arrive in Kyiv on Friday, September 20

She made the announcement at a press conference in Brussels.
Von der Leyen spoke about the EU's support for Ukraine's energy security before the upcoming winter.
“After this press conference, I will head to Kyiv to personally discuss these issues with President Zelenskyy tomorrow,” she said.

Ahead of winter, the European Union will allocate €160 million to support Ukraine's energy security. The funds will be used for shelters, heaters, and repairs.
