Ukraine could join EU by end of this decade, says EU Ambassador
Katarina Mathernova, the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, believes Ukraine could become a member of the European Union by 2030

She shared this opinion during an interview with European Pravda.
“I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: I believe President Michel’s goal — Ukraine joining the EU by the end of this decade — is absolutely realistic,” Mathernova stated.
She noted that Ukraine “broke the mold” with its bold move to apply for EU membership in the early days of the full-scale war. This fast-tracked process, compared to other candidate nations, could continue at a similar pace.
