Ukrinform reported the information.
The MEPs supported the resolution on continued financial and military support to Ukraine by EU Member States at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
The document was supported by 425 MEPs, 131 voted against, and 63 abstained. In total, 619 MEPs voted.
In addition, the partners should increase the supply of ammunition and weapons, strengthen cooperation in the field of air defense, and immediately lift restrictions on Ukraine's use of Western weapons systems against legitimate military targets on Russian territory, as this impedes Ukraine's ability to exercise its legitimate right to self-defense.
- Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range weapons on Russian territory concerns “individual allies.”
