"It's hard to leave your pack, but wolf can hunt alone": Combat General Khorenko on departure from Special Forces commander role
Combat General Khorenko after dismissal from the post of the Commander of the Special Forces shared the main principles of his work and promised to continue fighting for the benefit of Ukraine
The Telegram channel of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.
The former commander of the Special Operations Forces, Viktor Khorenko, said that following his dismissal from the post, he regrets only that he did not complete the planned operations and did not support those who relied on him.
"It is difficult to leave your pack as a leader. But a wolf can hunt alone. What’s important is that there is always someone to hunt, we have enough enemies," he explained.
Khorenko added that he will continue to "fight the enemies of Ukraine" regardless of whether the results of his efforts are made public.
"I don't know if you will hear anything about my struggle, because I have never done it publicly. But I will fight. I am not a public figure, I do not play politics. The meaning of my life is revenge on the enemies of Ukraine," the former commander said.
In particular, he is confident that there are "many good leaders in the offices.” But, in his opinion, it is impossible to lead troops from the office without any combat experience.
"To understand how to defeat the enemy, you need to kill at least one personally. I have killed many," Khorenko added.
His main principle has always been honesty and openness to his servicemen. The ability to listen and express their own opinions to each other is also important.
