Israel strikes back at Lebanon 

The IDF shared the information on its Telegram channel.

The IDF stated that they responded with artillery fire following mortar attacks launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon. They reassured the public, saying, "The IDF has been taking preparational measures for this type of possibility and will continue to operate in all regions and at any time necessary to ensure the safety of the Israeli civilians."

Later, an IDF drone struck the infrastructure of Hezbollah militants near the Israeli-Lebanese border in the Mount Har Dov area.

At approximately 09:08 am, IDF fighter jets hit a compound belonging to the head of Hamas' intelligence department in the Gaza Strip.

"The IDF is currently continuing to strike terror targets in the Gaza Strip," emphasized the Israeli Defense Forces.

Islamic Jihad launched a massive air and land attack on the state of Israel in several places. The head of the Hamas military wing, Mohammed Deif, said that his militants had launched the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. According to him, these actions are intended to protect the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

According to the channel, Israel lost 300 people killed and at least 1,600 wounded. The number of casualties from the Palestinian-populated Gaza Strip is 232 killed and 1,627 wounded.
