"Chapline is our pain today. As of this minute, there are 22 dead, five of them burned in the car, a teenager died, he was 11 years old, a Russian rocket destroyed his house. Search and rescue operations at the railway station continue. Be sure we will make the occupiers answer for everything they have done. And we will definitely throw the invaders out of our land. Eternal memory to all those whose lives were taken by these occupiers, these enemies! Eternal glory to all our soldiers, our people!" - said the President of Ukraine.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko also told more about the shelling.
"In the afternoon, an enemy rocket destroyed a private house. 3 people - a woman and 2 children - were buried under the rubble. The woman and a 13-year-old boy were rescued by locals. The body of the dead 11-year-old boy was retrieved from the rubble by rescuers. Later, the enemy attacked the settlement once again - first with one rocket, and then with three more. The first attack damaged the utility buildings of the railway, the next ones hit the railway station," Tymoshenko wrote.
