If Iran supplies ballistic missiles to Russia, US will transfer Atacms to Ukraine – military expert Zgurets
Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets believes that the US may transfer Atacms to Ukraine in response to Iran's supply of ballistic missiles to Russia
He expressed this opinion on Espreso.
“The supply of ballistic missiles from Iran to the Russian Federation is currently a highly volatile situation. Despite this ongoing risk, I believe that the USA may respond by delivering Atacms to Ukraine. Though this is not a widely discussed possibility, I am convinced that such negotiations could be taking place behind the scenes,” Zgurets explained.
The analyst also commented on the likelihood of Iran supplying missiles to Moscow, stating that such threats remain but that Iran is unlikely to follow through.
“Russia, meanwhile, is well aware of the potential consequences of accepting such supplies. Pressure is also being exerted on Iran to prevent the supply of this type of weaponry, making it improbable that any significant military equipment will be supplied from Iran to Moscow,” he added.
