G20 summit: India invites Putin, Zelenskyy is not among G20 invitees
The G20 summit in New Delhi on September 9-10 will be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, but the list of invitees does not include representatives of Ukraine

Among the permanent members of the G20 expected to attend the summit are European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Charles Michel, as well as Presidents Yoon Suk Yeol (South Korea), Lula Da Silva (Brazil), Xi Jinping (China), Emmanuel Macron (France), Recep Tayyip Erdogan (Turkey), and Joe Biden (USA).
In addition, the list of participants includes Prime Ministers Justin Trudeau (Canada), Rishi Sunak (UK), Anthony Albanese (Australia), Fumio Kishida (Japan), Giorgia Meloni (Italy), Narendra Modi (India) and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
In addition, representatives of Argentina, Indonesia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain, the UAE, and Russian President Vladimir Putin were invited to the New Delhi summit as guests.
The website notes that the 18th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit in New Delhi will be the culmination of all previous processes and meetings held throughout the year between ministers, senior officials and civil society.
"A G20 Leaders’ Declaration will be adopted at the conclusion of the New Delhi Summit, stating Leaders’ commitment towards the priorities discussed and agreed upon during the respective ministerial and working group meetings," the statement said.
