First time in history Ukraine's FM joins Latin America summit
For the first time in history, Dmytro Kuleba took part in the summit of the Association of Caribbean States
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noted that the Association unites 25 countries of the region and is an influential diplomatic platform in Latin America.
In his speech, Dmytro Kuleba emphasised the new opportunities for Ukraine's relations with the Caribbean, including the development of economic cooperation, business and people-to-people contacts, technological partnerships, and the exchange of technologies and experience in areas of mutual interest.
He also suggested developing scientific cooperation and projects in the technological, aerospace, innovation, and educational fields. In addition, the Foreign Minister called on Caribbean partners to support the achievement of justice for Russian crimes in Ukraine, as well as to join the Coalition for the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
"Neutrality is not an answer to today's challenges. It only creates strategic problems by encouraging those who seek to violate borders and rules. The truth is that we are all responsible for protecting our principles and values. One sacred value that Ukraine fights for is the value we all hold dear. Freedom," Kuleba said.
