Famous British actor and writer Stephen Fry arrives in Kyiv
On September 4, British actor and writer Stephen Fry announced on social media that he had arrived in the capital of Ukraine to attend the First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit
He wrote about this on Instagram, posting a photo from a train car.
"A sleeper car from the Polish border to Kyiv. Arriving there now…" he wrote.
In the comments to Fry’s post, Ukrainian users expressed their gratitude for the support and welcomed him to Ukraine.
The day before, the organizers of the third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which will take place on September 6 in Kyiv, announced that Fry would be the event's host.
"He has consistently supported Ukraine in its fight for existence and independence, as evidenced in his interviews with guests. In addition, he helped Ukrainians endure the winter with the ShelterBox initiative, which collected donations for warm clothing and repair of damaged homes," the post says.
