F-16s for Ukraine, agreement with Uganda for Russia
Ukraine and Russia have both reached agreements for superiority in the sky. There is one little thing, though
Ukraine is set to receive F-16 aircraft much earlier than anticipated, possibly by the end of the year or even by the end of summer, greatly enhancing the capabilities of the Armed Forces. This development carries significant implications for our "dear" Russian neighbors who always bother our sleep. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will now be better equipped to carry out their missions with increased effectiveness.
Despite this positive shift, some skeptical compatriots lament, "Now the West will surely withdraw its support and force us to compromise with Putin." However, even the G7 countries' joint declaration, boldly dismissing any peace plan proposed by China and aimed at appeasing Putin, fails to deter these arguments.
Who knows? Perhaps the Americans have been persuaded by the effectiveness of Ukrainian forces, as demonstrated by the Patriot air defense systems, which in turn bolsters their arms sales. They might have realized that Russian threats of escalation hold no weight, as their Kinzhal missiles no longer instill fear in anyone. Regardless, the Russians themselves hastened this moment with their senseless nighttime attacks on Kyiv. Truly brilliant strategists... As usual, their actions have inadvertently facilitated Ukraine in acquiring modern air defense systems, including the aforementioned Patriots, due to their mindless and brutal terrorist attacks on energy infrastructure. Putin seemingly outsmarts everyone once again, doesn't he?
“Russian threats of escalation hold no weight, as their Kinzhal missiles no longer instill fear in anyone. Regardless, the Russians themselves hastened this moment with their senseless nighttime attacks on Kyiv. Truly brilliant strategists...”
Or perhaps the time has finally come. And we must congratulate the Ukrainian diplomats and all others who pushed hard for this direction.
To prevent any Russian complaints of "escalation," permission will be granted by the Americans. The training of our soldiers will be conducted in Britain, and it appears that the planes will be provided by the Netherlands and possibly other countries like Denmark and Belgium.
And what should Medvedev do now? Burst with anger? Who can he possibly intimidate at this point?
However, the Russians have also achieved some success in strengthening their air superiority. This week, Russia and Uganda became the first to sign a nonproliferation treaty. This truly marks the end of the space arms race…
One could speculate that the Russians signed it merely for the sake of signing something, to demonstrate their lack of isolation. And Uganda, for some reason, loves the Russians very much and is ready to sign anything.
But there is another version. Maybe Putin confused Uganda and Wakanda*?..
*Wakanda is a powerful fictional country depicted in Marvel's Fantastic Four comic book series, known for being hidden from the outside world.
