European Commission President calls to speed up aid to Ukraine and increase ammunition production
At the Munich Security Conference on February 18, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has called for an increase in the production of supplies needed by Ukraine in the war with Russia
Interfax reported the information.
"We have to continue really massive support [to Ukraine], that the imperialist plans of Putin will completely fail and that Ukraine is able to win. In terms of military support, I think it is now the time to speed up the production of supplies that Ukraine needs desperately, for example, ammunition. We cannot wait months and years until we are able to replenish and deliver it to Ukraine," the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said.

Earlier, Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, said at the conference in Munich that Ukraine expects to be invited to join NATO in July 2023, during the NATO summit in Vilnius. The main topic of the meeting, he said, is still the supply of weapons to Ukraine in the shortest terms possible.
