Ecologists calculate damage caused by missile strike on Lutsk
On August 15, the Russian occupying forces launched a missile attack on the premises of SKF Ukraine PJSC
The State Environmental Inspectorate in the Volyn region reported the information, according to Espreso.
"Following the guidelines outlined for assessing the environmental impact resulting from emergencies, armed aggression, and hostilities during times of martial law, environmental inspectors from the State Environmental Inspectorate in the Volyn region have conducted an evaluation to determine the extent of damage inflicted upon the environment," the statement reads.
The damage caused by the missile strike to land resources amounted to UAH 163.5 million, with the area of the polluted land plot totaling 4608 m2.
In addition, the total area of the fire caused by the missile strike was 200 m2, and the damage caused by the emission of pollutants into the air amounted to UAH 48,200.

On the night of August 15, Russian troops launched a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine. In particular, a missile strike on an industrial facility in Lutsk on August 15 killed three workers - men aged 27, 52, and 55. Several others were hospitalized.
