Russian missile hits Swedish SKF plant in Lutsk, killing three
The Swedish company SKF, one of the world's largest bearing makers, said that its plant in Lutsk came under Russian missile fire on August 15

“Last night there was an attack on the city of Lutsk in Ukraine and our factory has been hit in that attack,” SKF’s spokesperson Carl Bjernstam said.
“We are very sad to confirm that three of our colleagues have been killed,” he added.
According to him, the company is currently assessing the damage caused to the plant as a result of the attack, but stressed that it is primarily focused on employees and their safety.
According to the company's latest report, it has about 1,100 employees in Ukraine, most of whom work at the plant in Lutsk.
Last April, SKF announced its withdrawal from the Russian market.

On the night of Tuesday, August 15, Russian forces launched a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine. In particular, there were hits in Lviv and Lutsk, where people were injured and killed, and air defence systems were activated in Khmelnytsky and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
