'War will end with Ukraine's unconditional surrender': global fakes for August 13
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of anti-Ukrainian fakes that were launched by the world media on August 13
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on August 13, another round of disinformation and manipulation appeared in the world.
Disinformation: The German-Finnish blogger Kim Dotcom wrote on his X page: “The attack against the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant by Ukraine today sets the stage for NATO entering the US proxy war with Russia directly.”
Refutation: Dotcom is spreading the Russian narrative, falsely accusing Ukraine of attacking the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to discredit Ukraine and create reasons for further Russian aggression, justifying its actions in the international arena and intimidating the world community with a nuclear threat.
Disinformation: Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said: "This (the war - ed.) only ends one way and that's with the unconditional surrender of Ukraine after the total defeat of Ukraine at the hands of the Russian forces."
Refutation: Ritter's manipulative statement is aimed at creating the false idea that the only way to end Russian aggression is through Ukraine's surrender.
- Earlier, the Sumy District Council denied the information about the alleged inclusion of the Russian city of Sudzha and the Sudzha district in the Sumy region.
