Diplomacy is smokescreen for Russia behind which they want to solve Ukrainian issue - security expert
Oleksandr Khara, an expert on foreign and security policy at the Center for Defense Strategies, noted that Putin runs his country like a special operation
He expressed this opinion on the air of the "Verdict with Serhiy Rudenko" program on the Espreso TV channel.
"For Russia, everything is war. Putin runs his state as a special operation. It is total propaganda, it is the killing of dissenters, blackmail, bribery and aggressive actions towards the outside world. There is no diplomacy in Russia. Diplomacy for the Russian Federation is a smoke screen behind which they want to prepare and resolve the Ukrainian issue so that there are no Ukrainians any more. The successes of the Armed Forces and Ukrainian society in countering Russian aggression. Russia cannot impose anything on us by force of arms," Khara emphasized.
According to the expert, the Kremlin is trying to shake the unity of the West by military force.
"If it doesn't work out with the Americans, then it works out partially with the Europeans. Russia is not a diplomat, it is a propagandist. The Russians are not capable of conveying any opinion. Lavrov is in Putin's inner circle. You cannot agree on anything with him. Now he is putting psychological pressure on our partners," Khara noted.
